After conquering everything on the ground, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba looks to the skies for its next big collaboration, working with Japanese plane company All Nippon Airways to adorn the outside of two planes in their fleet for domestic travel. The first Demon Slayer plane is set to take off at the end of January 2022, with a second plane headed for the skies by the end of March 2022.
Here's a render of what the first plane will look like (the second plane's design has yet to be revealed):
The inside of the planes will also be full of Demon Slayer goodness, with the announcements over the speakers from the voice actors in character, special in-fight cups with exclusive Demon Slayer designs, and the entire Unwavering Resolve Arc, alongside various orchestrated albums from the series, being available as in-flight entertainment.
The Demon Slayer paper cups:
Circular Menko cards featuring characters and scenes from the Unwavering Resolve Arc will also be available through the ANA original toys shop in airports.
The collaboration starts in January 2022 when the first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba plane flies, with more campaigns to happen throughout the year. Depending on the popularity of the tickets, they may be released as part of a lottery system to wannabe fliers, though we'll have to see when they're released soon.
The latest arc, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, started on Fuji TV on October 10 and streams on Crunchyroll and Funimation weekly as it airs in Japan. The next arc, the Entertainment District Arc, is scheduled to begin airing on Japanese TV on Sunday, December 5, and will also stream on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
