This is the first year since Oricon started collecting data in 2008 that One Piece wasn't in the top 5 at all, making it also the first year any Weekly Shonen Jump series other than Demon Slayer has sold more copies.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and JUJUTSU KAISEN also topped the book rankings, with Demon Slayer topping the series rankings at 776,320 copies sold, beating out That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime's 597,819 copies over the entire franchise, while JUJUTSU KAISEN's Iku Natsu to Kaeru Aki light novel topping the light novel single volume charts at 259,960 copies sold.
