Like clockwork, Japanese theaters every April since 1994 usually see a brand new Crayon Shin-chan anime film to delight children and fans of the long-running anime, though the past two years (for obvious reasons) saw a mix-up of this near 20-year schedule. The 29th film of the franchise Crayon Shin-chan Nazo Meki! Hana no Tenkasu Gakuen was scheduled to open on April 23, until it was moved due to the third State of Emergency to combat the coronavirus.
Now, it has been confirmed with an updated trailer that the latest Crayon Shin-chan anime film will now open in Japanese theaters on July 30.

The first State of Emergency also upended the 28th film of the series and was declared as the COVID-19 pandemic was starting and postponing from April 24 to September 11, 2020. The new film, Crayon Shin-chan Nazo Meki! Hana no Tenkasu Gakuen, opens on July 30.
