Chainsaw Man was the highlight of the MAPPA 10th Anniversary event last night, releasing our first look at the upcoming TV anime adaptation and trending worldwide whilst doing so. But in the background, Tatsuki Fujimoto’s original manga series has been picking up more and more steam, revealing today that the series has surpassed 11 million copies sold (digitally) and printed (physically) – and that's only with 11 volumes released in Japan!
It was further announced that Tatsuki Fujimoto will be getting a one-shot manga on the Jump+ digital service on July 19, ahead of when Chainsaw Man part 2 starts its serialization on the platform, though no date has been confirmed for it as of yet.

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man ended its run in Weekly Shonen Jump in December last year and has been collected into 11 volumes, a "part two" of the manga series will soon be appearing on the Shonen Jump+ app, and a TV anime adaptation from studio MAPPA will be coming soon. Viz Media releases the series in English and describes it as such:
Denji’s a poor young man who’ll do anything for money, even hunting down devils with his pet devil-dog Pochita. He’s a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!
