Death Stranding has wow’d and confused us so far in its time in the limelight, but with its release just over the horizon, Sony have gone all in and announced a Limited Edition PS4 Pro, with some … interesting design choices.
Announced during Sony’s “State of Play”, the Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro will come with 1 terabyte of hard-drive space, a white body with a custom decal – which looks quite handsy –, and a special yellow translucent controller.
What’s ‘fun’ about the controller, is that it’s based off the pod that contains the baby in the game, letting you cradle the controller while Sam (Norman Reedus) cradling the baby. The controller also has the Death Stranding logo imprinted on its touchpad. Baby not included ... we're pretty sure, this is Kojima we're talking about.
The Limited Edition Death Stranding PlayStation 4 will be available the same day as the launch of the game, November 8, and comes bundled with a disc version of the game, along with special themes, custom avatars, items within the game, and the soundtrack (available to download). It retails in the US for $399.
