Tales of Symphonia: Remastered Comes to Modern Platforms in February 2023

Bandai Namco announced that Tales of Symphonia: Remastered will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on February 17, 2023.

 

 

Some features included in this release are the ability to skip events and cutscenes, as well as improved controls for sea travel. The standard edition will be $40 but there is a Bandai Namco Store exclusive Chosen Edition that costs $50. It contains the base game, steelbook case, a set of art prints and some stickers.

Tales of Symphonia was first released in 2003 in Japan for the Nintendo GameCube, and then in 2004 for PlayStation 2. The game was released exclusively for the GameCube in North America and Europe in 2004. It was then ported over to PlayStation 3 a decade later as Tales of Symphonia Chronicles and then launched on PC in 2016.
