As Takahashi's first digital single in a year since "Final Call" (Bisty's pachinko machine Neon Genesis Evangelion ~Roar to the Future~ theme song) in December 2021, "Teardrops of hope" will be released on December 19, 2023. The digital jacket features a fantastic artwork of Rei Ayanami, one of the main heroine in the Evangelion franchise, floating in the air with her eyes closed and holding her knees under the light of a large moon. And the lyric video also shows Ayanami floating on the red sea with the surface of the water shimmering, while the lyrics of the song are projected on top of her figure.
