Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World Gets All-female Cast Stage Play This Fall

    A stage play adaptation of Kei Sazane's romance fantasy light novel series Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is set to be performed at Theater 1010 in Tokyo from October 20 to 24, 2022, and COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA TT Hall in Osaka from November 10 to 13. Following the advance sales starting today on the play's official website, general sales of the tickets will begin on October 1.   The novel was previously adapted into a 12-episode TV anime in the fall of 2020, and its second season has already been in the works for a premiere in 2023. The stage play is based on the story of the TV anime's first season.   Ichidai Matsuda ( Cutie Honey Emotional ) is attached to write and direct. All characters including male ones will be played by female cast members. Oreimo, Eromanga Sensei Illustrator Posts New Hatsune Miku Song "Mirai no Sekai"

    Hiro Kanzaki , known for his illustration works for Tsukasa Fushimi's Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai and Eromanga Sensei light novel series, has also been active in Vocaloid music under the name Hanasoumen-P . He opened his official YouTube channel in April 2014, attracting 85,300 subscribers in eight years.    August 31, 2022, on Hatsune Miku's 15th birthday, he posted his new Miku song "Mirai no Sekai" ( The World of Future ) on the channel featuring his Miku illustration. The lyrics of the digital pop tune song were written by yuiko , best known for her lyric works for the KINMOZA!  anime franchsie. She says on Twitter, "This song makes me feel warm.     Voice actor Daisuke Ono (Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler , Jotaro Kujo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure ) released his new song "Mata Au Toki wa" ( When We Meet Again ) digitally from Lantis on August 31. This is a special duet song with voice actress Reina Ueda (Akane Shinjo in SSSS.GRIDMAN , Eléonore "Ellen" Bonnefoi in Parallel World Pharmacy ), who also belongs to Lantis   The heartwarming song is written/composed/arranged by Japanese musician/composer kotringo , known for her soundtrack/theme song works for Sunao Katabuchi's 2016 anime film In This Corner of the World . Haruhi Suzumiya VA Aya Hirano Announces Independence from Her Agency

    Voice actress Aya Hirano , best known as Haruhi Suzumiya in the Haruhi Suzumiya series, announced on her official blog today that her contract with her agency, Grick, expired as of August 31 and that she will be working independently starting September.   She started her career as a child actor in 1998 and had been with Grick since 2011. Please Save My Earth Manga Author to Hold 40th Anniversary Art Exhibition

    In commemoration of manga artist Saki Hiwatari 's debut 40th anniversary, a special art exhibition is scheduled to be held on the seventh floor of the Seibu Shibuya department store's A Building in Tokyo from October 18 to 31, 2022.    Her best-known work, Please Save My Earth , was serialized in Hakusensha's Hano to Yume magazine from 1986 to 1994, then compiled in 21 tankobon volumes. The sci-fi story centering on seven men and women with memories of their previous lives as aliens reincarnated in modern Japan had a great impact on the young readers of the time. Japanese occult magazines received a huge amount of letters from readers who, like the characters in the story, recalled memories of their previous lives. G-MEN Live-action Film Release Date Pushed Back to Summer 2023

    The official website for the forthcoming live-action film adaptation of Toshio Ozawa's high school delinquent comedy manga G-MEN announced today that its theatrical release date in Japan has been pushed back to the summer of 2023. Lead combat designers Mihir Sheth and Denny Yeh have over 17 years of God of War experience shared between them, and both played prominent roles in the previous game’s success. The series’ current direction is inspired by an old studio motto: Playing with your food. “That’s an internal philosophy that we’ve had since back in the day,” Sheth says. “Kratos plays with his food. We tried to create systems you want to engage with that are fun, very playful, lots of different routes.
