Crayon Shin-chan Anime Celebrates 30 Years with Anniversary Video

Crayon Shin-chan

The first episode of the Crayon Shin-chan anime—based on the comedy manga by Yoshito Usui—aired on April 13, 1992. That means the TV anime has officially been around for 30 years! We can't think of a better way to mark the occasion than an anniversary video looking back at the series so far, and that's exactly what the official Twitter account and YouTube channel shared.

It's directed by Masakazu Hashimoto (TARI TARI, Soul Eater Not!), who previously worked on the 21st, 23rd, and 27th films, based on a screenplay co-written by himself and Kimiko Ueno (The Royal Tutor).
