Black Clover Manga to Take a 3 Month Break to Prepare for the Final Arc

Black Clover

The Black Clover manga will be taking a break for the next three months while series creator Yuki Tabata prepares the final arc of the long-running adventure series. The Weekly Shonen Jump editorial department and Tabata announced the news tonight in a joint statement on the Shonen Jump website, with them both confirming that the break was a joint decision.

Here's a translation of Yuki Tabata's comment:

"My intention was to continue to draw [Black Clover] without taking a break, but after consulting with the editorial department, we have decided to take an extended break so that I can properly prepare the final manuscript for the last arc of the series.

I sincerely apologize to all the readers who have been reading the series every week, but I will be back with my full energy to make the finale of Black Clover exciting, so please wait for me until then!"

Weekly Shonen Jump's editorial department expects the hiatus to last "around three months," with the magazine confirming when the series will return to its pages at a later date. The Black Clover break will be starting in next week's issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
