"TIGER & BUNNY 2 Precious EVE" Event to be Held at Makuhari on March 12, 2022

BANDAI NAMCO Pictures has decided to hold "TIGER & BUNNY 2 Precious EVE," the first live event for the forthcoming TV anime TIGER & BUNNY 2, at Makuhari Messe's Event Hall in Chiba Prefecture on March 12, 2022. The anime's two main voice cast members, Hiroaki Hirata (Kotetsu T. Kaburagi) and Masakazu Morita (Barnaby Brooks Jr.) are confirmed to join.

No further details of the event have been revealed, but the press release says that the event will be held "ahead of the start of the anime in 2022." That means that the long-awaited sequel will not start airing in Japan until at least March 2022, and more information about it will be revealed at the event.

The highly anticipated new season TIGER & BUNNY 2 will tell an all-new sequel story to depict the world after the 2014 film TIGER & BUNNY the Movie -The Rising-. Masafumi Nishida (series composition writer) and Masakazu Katsura (character and hero designer) are confirmed to return, while Atsuko Kase (Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory) newly serves as director. Bandai Namco Pictures will be in charge of animation production.

Meanwhile, the franchise's two films, TIGER & BUNNY: The Beginning (2012) and TIGER & BUNNY: The Rising (2014) will be screened in 51 4DX theaters in Japan. The former will start its 4DX screenings on January 21, 2022, the the latter will follow on February 4, 2022.
