On a whole, when volume 17 releases on October 4, the JUJUTSU KAISEN manga had 55 million copies printed (physically) and sold (digitally). The overall figure includes the first printing of the next volume, which has a series record of a 2.5 million first printing copy print run. This is the biggest print run for a Weekly Shonen Jump series after One Piece's 4.05 million copy print run for its 67th volume, and Demon Slayer's print run of 3.95 million copies for its last volume.
