Anison singer Hiroko Moriguchi's official YouTube channel has posted a five-minute music video for "Kimi wo Mitsumete -The time I'm seeing you- / with Masato Honda" from her new album "GUNDAM SONG COVERS 2."
The song was originally included in her ninth single "ETERNAL WIND -Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka-" as an image song for the 1991 anime film Mobile Suit Gundam F91. This self-cover version features sax player Masato Honda (ex-T-SQUARE member). Moriguchi appears in an orange-colored normal suit (the name of the space suit in the Gundam universe) dress made in the motif of "Earth."

Moriguchi made her professional idol singer debut in 1985 with "Mizu no Hoshi he Ai wo Komete" (To a Watery Planet with Love), the second OP theme song for the Mobile Suit Z Gundam TV anime. For the Gundam franchise, she has also performed "Eternal Wind ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka" (Smile is in the Shining Wind) for Mobile Suit Gundam F91 in 1991, and "Sora no Kanata de" (Beyond The Space) for the fourth chapter of the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin OVA series in 2016.
Her first Gundam cover song album "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" was released from King Record on August 7, 2019. It ranked an impressive third palce in Oricon's weekly album chart (probably the highest in her career) and has sold more than 100,000 copies. Thanks to the great success, "GUNDAM SONG COVERS 2" was immediately decided to be released.
