Ninjas Roam the City in 1st Visual and Trailer for Original Anime Shinobi no Ittoki

After an intriguing announcement in February that contained only the studio, the above visual and a 2022 release date, upcoming original anime Shinobi no Ittoki today uncovered a full arsenal of info, firing off the first visual, trailer, cast and staff details, while also cementing an October 2022 broadcast window.

An original project by DMM Pictures and TROYCA (Re:CREATORS), Shinobi no Ittoki is being directed by Shu Watanabe (Re:CREATORS episode director), with series composition by Minato Takano, character design and chief animation direction by Isamu Suzuki (Bloom Into You), and music by TOMISIRO (Macross Δ).

 

The story reportedly follows the all-too-ordinary Ittoki Sakuraba, who suddenly learns he's the heir to a long line of ninjas after surviving an attack from the rival Koga clan. In order to survive, Ittoki learns to become a ninja of the Iga clan and joins the ongoing conflict.
