The Executioner and Her Way of Life TV Anime Confirms Its Premiere in 2022

 

 

In the latest 86th episode of GA Bunko official YouTube channel's regular program "Saeki to Kahara's Gangan GA Channel" streamed today, it was officially announced that the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Mato Sato's isekai fantasy light novel series The Executioner and Her Way of Life is set to premiere in Japan in 2022. The TV anime project was revealed in the end of January 2021.

 

And the TV anime's teaser visual featuring its two protagonist girls - Menou, the Executioner (CV: Iori Saeki) and Akari, the Lost One (CV: Moeka Kishimoto) is featured on the anime project's portal site. The anime's official Twitter account (@VirginroadAnime) is expected to open today.

 

Yoshiki Kawasaki (Ascendance of a Bookworm assitant director) makes his debut as main director, alongside series composition writer Shogo Yasukawa (A Certain Scientific Railgun T) and character designer Keiko Tamaki (Cells at Work! sub character designer). J.C.STAFF works on anime production.

 

 

 

 

This newly posted teaser trailer is basically the same as the one posted in January, but an announcement for the anime's 2022 premiere is added at the very end.

 

 

 

Story: 

 

Once upon a time, world was thrown into a chaos by people from another world with special powers known as “The Lost Ones”. To maintain peace, “The Executioners” are to kill “The Lost Ones” without mercy. This is a story of an unlikely pair; executioner Menou, who tries to be pure, honest, and strong to carry out her mission and “The Lost One” Akari who has extraordinary ability. Where will the path lead them?
