Whether you're a new island-goer or a returnee, Nintendo has promised more updates to Animal Crossing: New Horizons this year following a bit of dry spell for the easy-going Nintendo Switch game. Nintendo went to Twitter yesterday to thank fans for their "support and patience" and promised that "more free content ... is currently in development for later this year."
Before then though, July 29 will see the next small update, which will bring fireworks back to your island in time for matsuri season.
In addition to these updates, more free content for #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons is currently in development for later this year. More information will be shared in the future, so please stay tuned. Thank you for your support and patience.
