Fullmetal Alchemist Art Exhibition to Return for The Manga's 20th Anniversary

As another project for the 20th anniversary of Hiromu Arakawa's internationally popular manga Fullmetal Alchemist, its original art exhibition "Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition RETURNS" is set to be held at Sunshine City Exhibition Hall C in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, for 30 days from December 18, 2021, to January 16, 2022. It is also scheduled to be held at Hirakata Park in Osaka in the spring of 2021. Based on the original exhibition held from 2017 to 2019, more arts and contents will be added.

The key visual for "RETURNS" by Arakawa is based on the black-and-white illustration that was drawn 20 years ago to announce the start of the manga's serialization. She re-drew it with colors as the 2021 edition.

Advance lottery sales of tickets with premium goods for the first day of the event at the Tokyo venue (December 18) are now being accepted at Lawson Ticket from July 12 to 25. The 4,900 yen ticket comes with an A5-size "Visual Art - 20th Edition" with Arakawa's printed signature, an official catalogue, and an audio guide. The "Visual Art - 20th Edition" is only available with this ticket.
