September 20 marks the 25th anniversary of the first game in the Persona series, then just a mere spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei series, being released in Japan in 1996 and since then the five games and countless spin-offs have sold over 15 million copies around the world, gathering up hordes of Jack Frost lovers and persona users.
Atlus announced today that from September 2021, the next year will be a celebratory year for the Persona franchise, with events, merchandise (some of which are available to pre-order now), collaborations, and more. The announcement also teased new game information but did not mention if it'll be a new main series game or a spin-off, or if it is even a new game and not a remake.

The first 25th-anniversary drop will be happening sometime in September, with six more occurring throughout the leading. The final drop is scheduled for autumn 2022. There's no information on if these drops are news, announcements, or even games. Looks like we'll have to wait to find out!
