The BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS TV anime continues on into the new year, and with the change of seasons come brand new opening and ending theme songs for the long-running franchise based on the manga series previously written by Ukyo Kodachi and now written by Masashi Kishimoto, and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto. The official website for the series announced that popular pop-rock band Ikimonogakari is returning to the franchise for the third time, and mol-74 will be doing their first song for BORUTO.
Japanese pop-rock band Ikimonogakari was announced to be performing the new opening theme "BAKU" for BORUTO, returning to the franchise after singing the popular opening theme songs "Blue Bird" and "Hotaru no Hikari" for Naruto Shippuden. The new ending theme song "Answers" will be performed by mol-74, who are new to the franchise. Both songs will start in the January season of the long-running show.
