Did a lot of news happen this year? Boy, did it. And the above Teekyu image captures the feeling well. I have no idea how a span of 365 days can feel both like a) a decade and b) a month, but somehow we are entering the year 2021 like the opening of a Mega Man game (those Boston Dynamics Robots can’t fool me with their dancing).
We here at Crunchyroll News have covered quite a bit during 2020, from the exciting, unfortunate, to everything in-between. The top-performing articles of this year tell a pretty interesting story, and some didn’t even make it that I thought were going to be on here! To give a little perspective, one of the first articles we published in 2020 was about Studio Ghibli’s New Year’s message talking about the “two” films in production. Demon Slayer just ended the year by beating Spirited Away’s box office record. Wild times!
