BanG Dream! Kasumi VA Aimi to Start Her Solo Artist Activities in Spring 2021

Voice actress Aimi, best known as Kasumi Toyama in the BanG Dream! mixed-media franchise, announced on December 25 that she will start her solo artist activities at King Records in the spring of 2021. She is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist in the franchise's main female band, Poppin'Party.

After winning second place in the national finals of the "Find Ellie! Milky Holmes Voice Actor Audition Tour" in February 2010, she started attending Dwango Creative School and got her first leading role, Kazumi Tokiwa, in Futari wa Milky Holmes (2013). Her other well-known characters include Suiko Tachinagi in Cardfight!! Vanguard (2011-2020) and Julia in The Idolm@ster Million Live! (2013-). In the ongoing fall 2020 season, she is playing Kyoko Yamate in D4DJ First Mix.

Her first single from King Records is set to be released in the spring of 2021.
