Demon Slayer in Kyoto

Kyoto is well-known for its historic districts that have stood the test of time, and over the next few months, those districts will be painted in the patterns of Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Rengoku as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be taking over the old capital with events, exhibitions, and rallies all over.

Starting at the Toei Kyoto Studio Park in Ukyo Ward, the theme park will let visitors the feeling of the Hinokmai Kagura from the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train anime film alongside being able to take a photo with the boulder found on Sagiri Mountain. Visitors can also experience both the Butterly Mansion and the mansion where all the Hashira gathered in a Demon Slayer cosplay and have a guided tour from Tanjiro himself. There will also be games in the theme park to win prizes!

Meanwhile, the Kyoto Railway Museum will have trains from the Taisho era on display that helped inspired the train in the Mugen Train anime film. The headmark on the train at the museum will be changed out for a visual-based on the "Demon Slayer Kyo no Work 2" event. Tanjiro will once again guide people through the one-kilometer long train and the stamp rally inside it.

The Arashiyama Line in Kyoto is kitting out four of its trains with "Demon Slayer Kyo no Work 2" headmarks as well as dressing up Arashiyama Station with Demon Slayer patterns on the first floor, with its third floor having an area decorated with wisteria flowers. A limited amount of artificial wisteria flowers will also be given out to visitors in the first few days to place around the station themselves. Goods based on Demon Slayer in Kyoto will be sold throughout Kyoto as well as online, which are previewed below.
