Re:ZERO Author Nagatsuki's Original TV Anime 'Warlords of Sigrdrifa' Grounded Until October Due to COVID-19

The official Twitter account of original TV anime from the mind of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- author Tappei Nagatsuki announced on May 22 that Warlords of Sigrdrifa would be postponed from its original July 2020 broadcast to October 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

On the official website, the production committee, 909th Maintenance Supply Company, asked people to be understanding "in light of the current situation," apologizing for any inconvenience caused by the delay. The original TV anime also features expert scenario and world creator Takaaki Suzuki (Violet Evergarden, GIRLS und PANZER) and manga artist Takuya Fujima (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) as staff members on the series.
