The second season baseball TV anime series Major 2nd, which went on a short hiatus due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) on April 25, announced on the official Twitter account on May 23 that the series will be returning this week with the 5th episode of MAJOR SECOND Season 2, scheduled to air on May 30.

The above tweet additionally announced that Chiba Lotte Marines player Toshiya Sato will be a guest-starring in the episode, who plays catcher for the Makuhari-based team. MAJOR SECOND Season 2 will continue to be broadcast in Japan on NHK-E, with Crunchyroll streaming the series.
