The Idolm@ster SideM Gets Stage Play Adaptation in June 2022

 

 

It was announced during the live-streaming program last night that a stage play adaptation of Bandai Namco Entertainment's mixed-media franchise The Idolm@ster SideM is set to be performed at The Galaxy Theater in Tokyo in June 2022.

 

As a spin-off to the female idol-featured original The Idolm@ster series, the male-idol featured series was launched in 2014 with its first mobile game, then has expanded into various media, such as music CDs, web radio shows, manga, anime, and live events.

 

Its first stage play adaptation entitled Dramatic Live Stage The Idolm@ster SideM is directed by Hirofumi Araki (Sadaharu Inui in The Prince of Tennis musicals) on a script by Mizuki Sano (Assault Lily stage plays). Further details including its main cast members will be revealed at the press conference to be live-streamed at 18:30-19:30 on March 27 (JST).
