Chargeman Ken! The Musical Destroys Shinjuku in October of 2019

A hypnotized Caron turns into a butcher knife-wielding assassin in Episode 45 of Chargeman Ken.

Just when we were finally convinced that Chargeman Ken! isn't real and can't hurt us anymore, Japan tosses us back on the pain-train, because now the infamously poorly produced 1974 anime created by Knack Productions is being adapted into a musical stage play that will run in Shinjuku in late October and early November of 2019. The staff for the production includes:

  • Director: Makoto Kimura (Nice Complex)
  • Script: Naohiro Ise
  • Music: Isamu Teshima
  • Planning, production: CLIE

The cast of Chargeman Ken! The Musical includes:

  • Yamato Furuya, Yuto Adachi, Jungo Takasaki, and Seijiro Nakamura as Ken Izumi, aka Chargeman Ken.
  • Yuzuki Hoshimoto as Caron Izumi.
  • Kaisei Abe as Barikan.
  • Hamaron as Jural Alien.
  • Kōhei Murakami as Maou-sama.
  • and Others.

Chargeman Ken! The Musical will run from October 31 - November 06, 2019, at the Shinjuku FACE theater in Kabukicho, Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan.

This is clearly a secret plot by the Jural to trick us into listening to "Murder Record, Melody of Terror".
