Fans of Jingai-san no Yome ("The Non-Human Person's Bride") will soon have the opportunity to enjoy their own personal domestic bliss with a limited run of plushies of Kanenogi, the impossibly fluffy non-human creature who ends up married to an ordinary high school boy.
The Kanenogi plushies are 24 centimeters (9.4 inches) tall and they retail for 3780 yen ($33.25 US) including tax. Pre-orders are currently available online through vendors such as Ichijinsha's online shop and the Sekiguchi Fan Direct Shop, with the final product scheduled to begin shipping in November of 2018.
The Jingai-san no Yome manga by Yu Aikawa and Akiwo Yatsusaka is serialized in Ichijinsha's Zero-Sum Online digital manga magazine. The Jingai-san no Yome TV anime is directed by Hisayoshi Hirasawa and features animation production by Saetta. The series will broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji beginning on October 02, 2018, and Jingai-san no Yome will also be available via streaming on Crunchyroll.

Hinowa Tomari, a completely ordinary high school boy, is summoned by his homeroom teacher one day and informed that he's been selected to become the wife of a mysterious creature called Kanenogi. Despite their uncertainty, the new couple registers their marriage... and starts a surprisingly happy new life together?! And thus the sugary-sweet married life of the soft, fluffy Jingai-san and the ordinary high school boy begins!
