Irie's appearances as Rei Togetsu in D4DJ's various streaming, programs, and events are scheduled to begin after October 7, 2022. And the voice data of Rei Togetsu in the smartphone rhythm game D4DJ Groovy Mix will be replaced sequentially from October 25.

Irie, who has also been active as pianist and fashion model, was chosen as one of the finalists in the first "All Japan Contest for Women with Beautiful Voices" in 2014, then made her anime voice acting debut in 2016. Her well-known characters include Asahi Miura in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story and Lorelei in Monster Strike

After announcement, she wrote on Twitter, "I'm Maiko Irie, and I will be taking over the role of Rei Togetsu in the D4DJ series. I will do my best to play the role with all my heart and soul, so that I can take over the role of the wonderful Rei-chan that Shizaki-san had created. I would appreciate your support."
