Persona 5 Strikers Marks 1.3 Million Copies Sold Since Release, Is 4th Best Selling Persona Game Ever
Altus announced via the Persona Channel website that the sequel to Persona 5, Persona 5 Strikers (also known as Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers) had passed 1.3 million copies sold for all versions of the game around the world. The website for the franchise shared a visual thanking fans for their support.
This makes Persona 5 Strikers the fourth highest-selling game in the Persona series. Currently in third place is the enhanced version of Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal at 1.4 million copies sold, in second place is Persona 4 Golden with over 2 million copies sold according to Persona Central between the Vita release and the PC release, and in first place is the original Persona 5 game at 3.2 million copies sold.
To celebrate the milestone, Persona 5 Strikers will be going on sale in Japan over Golden Week on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop.
The action RPG was released in Japan on February 20, 2020, on just the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with the game released worldwide a year later on February 23, 2021, and included a Steam version of the game.
