Three more cast members have been revealed for Farewell, My Dear Cramer (known as Sayonara, Watashi no Cramer in Japan), an upcoming TV anime based on the sports manga by Naoshi Arakawa (Your lie in April) about a group of high school girls who dedicate themselves to pursuing perfection on the soccer field. The new cast members include:
Soari Hayami as Mizuki Kaji.
Yui Ishikawa as Haruna Itou.
And Makoto Koichi as Mao Tsukuda.
An English language version of the Farewell, My Dear Cramer manga is available from Kodansha Comics, who describe the story of the series as follows:
With no soccer accomplishments to speak of during the entirety of Sumire Suo’s junior high school years, the young wing gets an odd offer. Suo’s main rival, Midori Soshizaki, invites her to join up on the same team in high school, with a promise that she’ll never let Suo “play alone.” It’s an earnest offer, but the question is whether Suo will take her up on it. Thus the curtain opens on a story that collects an enormous cast of individual soccer-playing personalities!
The Farewell, My Dear Cramer TV anime focuses on high school student Nozomi Onda as she and her friends aim to be the best in the world of women's soccer.
The Farewell, My Dear Cramer TV anime is directed by Seiki Takuno and features animation production by Liden Films. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations beginning in April of 2021.
