Discotek Media held its panel at Otakon 2019 earlier today, bringing a ton of announcements along for the ride. Not only is Symphogear season 1 coming to Blu-ray, but Discotek also detailed the Kemono Friends English dub, plans to release Space Adventure Cobra: The Movie on 4K UltraHD, and more.
Here's a rundown of the other announcements, followed by a closer look via Discotek's Twitter account:
- Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan is coming to Blu-ray
- Medabots is coming to SD Blu-ray
- Thermae Romae is coming to Blu-ray with a new English dub
- Galaxy Express 999: Eternal Fantasy is getting a Blu-ray release with a new dub
- Kyo Kara Maoh season 3 and the OVA are getting a Blu-ray
- NG Knights Lamune &40 is coming to SD Blu-ray
- Osamu Tezuka's Cleopatra is coming to Blu-ray
- Battery and the Great Passage are coming to Blu-ray
That's a lot of Blu-ray!
Before we get into the nitty gritty of some of Discotek's slides, here's a little snippet about the Kemono Friends dub. Sound Cadence Studios is handling the dub, which has Suzie Yeung as Kaban and Dani Chambers as Serval, among others. You can see the the full cast at Sound Cadence's website.
