Cohabitation is the Cat's Pajamas in "Dojyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama no Ue." TV Anime Trailer

 

Sharing one's life and living space with a stray cat can be a bit complicated in a new trailer for Dokyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama no Ue. ("My housemate is on my knee, sometimes on my head."), an upcoming TV anime based on the "healing manga" about a socially anxious mystery novel author who ends up adopting a feline companion.

 

The new trailer samples "Unknown World", the opening theme for series, which is performed by Schrodinger's Cat adding Kotoringo.

 

 

The original Dokyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama no Ue. manga is written by Minatsuki, illustrated by As Futasuya, and serialized in Flex Comix's Comic Polaris digital manga magazine. The series follows the everyday lives of Subaru Mikazuki, a reclusive author who writes mystery novels, and Haru, a stray kitten whom Subaru adopts. The story is told from the perspectives of both the human and feline characters.

 

 

The Dokyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama no Ue. TV anime is directed by Kaoru Suzuki and features animation production by Zero-G. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:

 

  • AT-X: every Wednesday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on January 09, 2019.
  • ABC Asahi Broadcasting: every Wednesday during the 26:20 time slot beginning on January 09, 2019.
  • Tokyo MX: every Thursday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on January 10, 2019.
  • BS11: every Thursday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on January 10, 2019.

 

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 26:20 time slot on Wednesday evening is actually on Thursday morning at 2:20 AM JST.
