South Korea-based confectionery manufacturer Lotte announced the broadcast of the original new anime Bikkurimen during the "Bikkuriman Day Fan Appreciation Day" held to commemorate "Bikkuriman Day" today on April 1. Bikkuriman is a chocolate and peanut wafer snack brand made by Lotte, which is known for bonus stickers featuring demon and angel characters. Linked to the concept of Bikkuriman chocolates, "surprising and astonishing people," April 1 has been officially registered as "Bikkuriman Day" with the Japan Anniversary Association since 2015.
