OxT Is ANiUTa's February Artist of the Month!

Whether you know it or not, you're like a fan of at least one member of anison duo OxT. And the pair are February's Artist of the Month over on music service ANiUTa!

Masayoshi Oishi is the Oricon-chart-topping performer behind music from shows like Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. Kemono Friends fans will know him best as the composer of the show's catchy opening theme, "Welcome to Japari Park."

Tom-H@ck has an impressive background in the world of anime, too, notably composing and arranging the music for high school band anime K-ON! He also performs with MYTH&ROID, whom you can currently hear performing the Boogiepop and Others opening theme, "shadowgraph."

The duo had a solid 2018, performing the Ace of Diamond theme "Go Exceed" and the SSSS.GRIDMAN theme "UNION" — the latter of which was one of the most listened-to songs of 2018 on the ANiUTa platform. In one of the duo's featured interviews this month, they note that social media was especially interested in its lyrics, including lines like "I've come to save you from boredom." Oishi notes that a few people wondered if he had an ideological agenda; no matter what listeners think the song means, though, he's happy it brough some joy into their lives.

ANiUTa's Artist of the Month page features interviews, playlists, and exclusive content from anison performers. You can also find plenty more tunes from OxT throughout.

ANiUTa is included as part of Crunchyroll's Super Fan Pack for new subscribers in the US, giving users instant access to thousands of hit anime tunes, as well as songs by anison performers.
