Pint-sized sleuth Conan Edogawa is taking his act on the road in a new horizontal runner!
Licensed for international release by Bushiroad, Case Closed Runner: Race to the Truth will feature characters from the series revisiting cases in a mobile game format. Basic controls will feature characters running forward through levels, jumping with a tap of the screen, and employing their own respective special abilities to clear challenges.
Multiple characters will be available to play in-game, and players can collect and set different illustrations for each. More will be added as the game progresses.
Visual novel-style scenes connect the levels to each other, based on events from the series.
To celebrate the game's upcoming release, Bushiroad is running a pre-registration campaign. Visit the pre-reg page and sign up for more information via email or social media. Rewards increase as more people sign up, and will include in-game currency, tickets for guaranteed SR/SSR gacha pulls, and a secret SR character.
Case Closed Runner: Race to the Truth will be available in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Russia, and Sweden. It will also be available in other countries under the title Detective Conan Runner: Race to the Truth. The game will be available on iOS and Android, free to play with in-app purchases, sometime later this year.
